Familia Artostrobiidae

Spherical or subspherical cephalis, usually with an apical tube directed obliquely upwards (undivided cephalis 2 Botryostrobus auritus/australis). The pores on all postcephalic segments, or at least on the last ones, are arranged in clearly defined transverse rows (pore arrangement upper-left panel). Usually elongated, multisegmented forms.
