Solitary zooids: up to 7.7 mm long, excluding posterior projections (Thalia cicar). Test bulky and flabby. Atrial palps bifurcate and large. Lateral projections long, posterior projections short. Echinae restricted to the projections and the ridge surrounding the oral opening. Body muscles arranged as in Thalia democratica. Number of muscular fibers as in Thalia orientalis.
Aggregate zooids: similar to Thalia democratica.
