Trunk up to 3.5 mm long, fairly elongate (Oikopleura valdiviae). Buccal glands oval and large. Gonads valve-shaped, encircling the stomach laterally when ripe. Tail with about 8 spherical subchordal cells near its tip, musculature narrow.
