Length 2-4 mm. ART 5 of P II with small, pointed posterodistal process, 4 times as short as ART 6 (Paratyphis maculatus 1). ART 2 of P V oval, with anterior margin concave medially, with distal end concave at attachment point of ART 3. P VII normally consisting only of ART 2, lacking distal ART.
