Anterior nectophore with 5 complete, straight longitudinal ridges. Mouth plate broad but shallow, largely occupied by hydroecium, which lies below ostial level. Globular somatocyst with short stalk. Posterior nectophore and eudoxid stage have not been described. This species closely resembles Lensia fowleri.
