Spicules elongate-conical outside outer shell, as long or twice as long as outer shell diameter. Pair of small knob-like or forked apophyses often on some or all spicules outside outer shell. Basal ends of spicules fused into central mass. Shell spherical, thick-walled, pores circular, regular. Each spicule surrounded by 4 aspinal pores, about 2-3 larger on outer shell than on inner one. Diameter of outer shell: 0.075 mm, inner shell: 0.03 mm; spicule length: 0.65 mm.
