Body conical, posterior portion longitudinally striped (owing to extrusomes or subpellicular platelet layer) and bluntly pointed. Oral cavity inconspicuous. Continuous equatorial kinety almost in mid-body, composed of monokinetids (preparation artifact?). Short ventral kinety in posterior 1/3 of body. Adoral zone continuous, composed of 12-15 anterior and 6-8 ventral adoral membranelles. One equatorial girdle of about 10 µm-long extrusomes (after protargol impregnation). Size of protargol-impregnated specimens 17-28 x 13.
