Diagnosis
Outer margin of antennal scale usually naked, with terminal thorn, rarely dentate or setose.
Male pleopods biramous, 1st pair with multi-jointed exopod and unjointed endopod; 2nd to 5th pairs with multi-jointed exopod and endopod; 4th or 5th pair sometimes with modified setae.
Telson variable.
