Pomatomus saltatrix larvae with relatively slender body. Pre-opercle serrated, no other head spination. Several melanophores scattered on top of head, and two rows of melanophores along dorsal and ventral margins of body. Another row of melanophores on post-anal mid-lateral line. Dorso-lateral surfaces of gut heavily pigmented (Pomatomus saltatrix).
