Ordo Beryciformes


Larvae morphologically diverse, ranging from very deep-bodied, robust, with moderate pre-anal length, to slender, elongate, with large pre-anal length. Head spination often very elaborate and/or with greatly enlarged spines, appears to be norm in suborder Bercoidei.
