Genus Oxycephalus

Milne-Edwards, 1830

Body elongate, with weak, blunt dorsal teeth and carina (Oxycephalus clausi 1). Head produced into more or less long, pointed, but not needle-like rostrum. Coxae fused with pereonites. P I and II chelate (Oxycephalus clausi 2). P VII with full number of ART. Fused urosomite (II+III) longer than wide, fused with telson. UR I and II with fused endopodites. UR III subequal to telson.
