Small animals. All pereonites free (Iulopis loveni 1). Body and P covered with fine setae. Pereonites II-VII raised into transverse rounded folds. Coxae free. Head large, globular. ANT II much reduced in female. MD without palp in female. MXP lacking inner lobe. P I subchelate (Iulopis loveni 2), P II chelate. P III-VII subequal, simple.
