Pereon and pleon segments with strong mid-dorsal spines (Acanthoscina acanthodes 1). Pereonites I and II fused. ANT II of males spine-like. MXP without inner lobe, outer lobes small, finger-like (Acanthoscina acanthodes 2). P I simple. P V with fused ART 3-5 (Acanthoscina acanthodes 3).
