Narcomedusae without manubrial pouches, periphery of manubrium circular and unbroken. With or without peripheral canal system. Gonads on manubrial wall, or on manubrial wall diverticula; numerous tentacles leaving umbrella at level of periphery of manubrium. With or without otoporpae. Two genera: Pegantha (with peripheral canal system; with otoporpae), and Solmaris (without peripheral canal system; without otoporpae).
