Diagnosis
Skeleton a spherical to ellipsoidal, loosely structured polygonal network of hollow tangential tubes. Tubes separated by astral septa where they meet at nodal points. Radial tubes or pyramidal elevations commonly arise from nodal points. The structures resemble architectural shapes known as geodesic domes.
